Name: Debbi Morgan
Occupation: Multi-Emmy Award Winning Actress, Author, Producer
I literally grew up watching this beautiful soul on tv when I was a little girl. I would sit alongside my grandmother and watch Debbi Morgan play "Angie" on the daytime soap All My Children. Who would of known that as I got much older and many years moving forward that I would be doing her makeup and working with her on that exact same show.
For the past few years Debbie and I have grown to be really good friends, so when I asked her to do a Q&A with "What's Your Protocol", I was honored. She happily agreed!
Take a quick peek into her daily life of awesomeness as she shares with us her wisdom and beauty secrets.
Hope you'll enjoy.
Lips x Protocol: What's Your Protocol?
DM: I've always been into much more of a natural beauty and lifestyle. My everyday routine consists of having a clean face without make-up. I only wear make-up for an event, a special evening out, or when I'm filming. Other than that a clean, fresh face is my bible. In terms of fashion, I enjoy a laid back, casual, bohemian style. It's all about comfort and feeling good in my own skin. When it's time to play dress up, I love flowing dresses and soft textures against my skin.
Lips x Protocol: What's the best beauty advice You have ever received?
DM: Never go to bed wearing make-up (a huge no no, and something I never ever do) and drinking more than enough H2O! Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate.
Lips x Protocol: What's your desire?
DM: To be happy, comfortable in my own skin, and welcome aging with grace.
It's always about reaching back. When we as women attain a certain level of success and gain a certain amount of power, this is the time to be selfless. In this way, we only broaden other's capacity to become empowered and accomplished in their own right. This should be an anthem for all women/sisters!
Lips x Protocol: When you close your eyes and imagine an empowered woman, what do you see?
DM: It took awhile to get there, but I see a woman who is confident, strong, independent, and unafraid!
Lips x Protocol: What is the biggest way in which you see women helping other women reach empowerment?
DM: It's always about reaching back. When we as women attain a certain level of success and gain a certain amount of power, this is the time to be selfless. In this way, we only broaden other's capacity to become empowered and accomplished in their own right. This should be an anthem for all women/sisters!
