Never would I have thought I would be blessed beyond my dreams of carrying more love within my body in such a major way. The joy of being pregnant over 40 was something I never thought would of been possible.

With my 3rd pregnancy, yet 4th child on the way I decided, along with my family to keep this pregnancy private so that I'm able to fully enjoy all that this beautiful pregnancy has given us. If I could of went longer than that and waited until baby was actually born I would have. But as for me working in production and taking so many holiday photos it was bound to creep up via social media, so my family and I decided why not share. It's a beautiful thing to be pregnant and create more life within life. So here we are. I'm officially in my 8 month, literally 33 weeks as of today.

Being over 40 and pregnant came as a complete surprise and I've been enjoying every bit of it with my family and close friends without immediately going public and I wanted to share when I was ready, my way. They say each pregnancy is very different from the others and I totally agree! from giving birth to my oldest in my roaring twenties to giving birth to my twin boys in my thirties and now pregnant in my forties is totally different. Quit a spread between the boys and now with baby number 4. However, this time around is totally a different experience. I'm in a totally different space in my life and more grounded with my family by my side.

I'm still a whirlwind of emotions and try to get as much rest as I possibly can. But I'm beyond grateful to share this chapter with my family and you all. I plan to share more soon.

Here's to life, love and all that God has for us. Hello 2019!

xoxo,

Julia

Hi, I'm Julia Jovone!

I'm a Chi-Town girl living in Los Angeles ( by way of NYC ) with a love affair for wellness, spirituality,

beauty, lifestyle and food. I'm also a mom, Emmy Award Makeup Artist, Reiki Practitioner and a overcomer.

I welcome you to the launch of the new and improved Lips and Protocol website with a touch of Wellness with J'Soul and my first blog post!

I am so excited to share with you all MORE of what Lips and Protocol has to offer! Ahhh the amount of ideas, how to's and tons of inspiration that is circling around in my head is ready to jump out literally.

I would like to start by telling you why I created

this blog and what you'll be seeing in my posts.

Why I started my blog

I started my business a few years ago and many have asked me " Why haven't I started a blog?" well I sorta kinda did with creating a movement called "What's Your Protocol?" where I interviewed some amazing women who shared with the world some empowering stories. It was then that my mom and my oldest son recently suggested that I start a blog giving you a peek to the behind the scenes of my everyday life and experiences.

I'm not used to sharing so much of myself, I'm a bit introverted in a way and enjoy my privacy. however with deciding to start blogging I decided to share my life experiences in hopes that it would help others to have a different perspective on life's matters, and also to help myself as well. I'm all about positivity on every level of my life. as well as love, and living my life the best that I know how. I would like to express that these experiences that I will be sharing are my own and I pray that it reaches out to your spirit to inspire and motivate you to be the best you possible!

To celebrate the launch of my blog, I will pick up where I left off. I shot this video below in early 2017 featuring my twin sons Trevor and Jordan. I will start from here and welcome you into our everyday lifestyle.

What you will be seeing more of in my posts

Wellness and Spirituality will obviously be the main topics of my blog, but get ready because you will learn much more about the face and of the lifestyle of Lips and Protocol (Me) showing you much more of the behind the scenes of my everyday real life and sharing experiences past and present. There's a lot of trail and error to life which I am still learning so please bare with me as I juggle it all. Please feel free to join in with me and share your experiences and/or advice and communicate with me along the way. I hope to inspire you all because seriously so many of you have inspired me. I'm looking forward to this new journey and sharing it with you. I do hope you'll be inspired and motivated.

Love and Light,

Julia Jovone
